The Community Youth Development Institute (CYDI) focuses on the development of students academic, social/emotional and executive skills to be successful in college and in their career. Earn your diploma and prepare for success in college, military, trades and other careers. Our program allows students to progress as they demonstrate mastery of academic content, regardless of time, place, or pace of learning.

Learn & Earn

CYDI LEARN & EARN

Community Youth Development Institute High School (CYDI) offers work based learning for all students and a unique opportunity to learn and earn money while enrolled at CYDI. Students have multiple opportunities to receive employment during the summer as well as academic year and training with curriculum job readiness. The program is designed to improve options for CYDI students, to better prepare them for college and career, and to provide work-based learning experiences to all our studentsThis program is a critical component of helping our youth access local career fields with relatively low barriers for entry and the opportunities to make money faster.

Our students participate in a wide variety of enrichment activities which serve to help students become well-rounded individuals and to better prepare them for college life. We strongly encourage participation in summer programs to gain comfort in new, diverse communities and to build additional skills outside the classroom.
